We picked up another 21 second places.
In 5th place overall with 229 points Toynton All Saints.
In 4th with 218 points was Hogsthorpe
In 3rd with 183 points was Burgh

Lincolnshire School Games

After our dancers had opened the event our hockey and athletics teams represented our district in the county finals of their respective events.
Both teams narrowly missed out on medals - picking up a pair of 4th places.

5th and 6th June at Skegness Cricket Club
Over the course of the two days, 2 teams took part in the Y5 competition, 2 more in the Year 6 competition and 2 more in the girls competition. It was the girls from Year 5 & 6 who had the most success taking top spot and progressing to the county finals in Lincoln where they finished in 7th place.

District 3rd May at St Hugh's Woodhall Spa
In our first ever lacrosse competition we won 3 of our 4 games to finish as runners up to hosts St Hugh's and book a place in the county finals.

County Volleyball Finals
Quicksticks Hockey
14th March Skegness Grammar School
4 teams represented our school in the local rounds of the large schools Quick Sticks Hockey tournament.
Teams 1 and 2 both made it through to the semi-finals with team 2 losing to Burgh and team 1 beating St Andrew's.
The final was a very close affair with Richmond grabbing a late goal to book a place at the Summer Games.

Football County Finals
Saturday 26th January
Wainfleet Road, Skegness
Damian, Colby, Ollie, Emerson, Corey, Luke, George and Harry represented the school in the county football finals hoping to retain the trophy we had won last year.
We successfully made it through to the semi-finals where we came up against a very good Ling Moor team who proved just too good for us. Ling Moor went on to win the competition beating Malcolm Sargent in the final, whilst we beat Spalding in the 3rd place play off

Two teams took part in the large schools’ section of the indoor athletics competition. The team representing Y5 finished 3rd overall whilst the Y6 team produced a dominant performance to pick up first place overall and book their place in the Summer Games.
