Cross Country


Skegness Grammar School, Thursday 10th May

27 pupils took part in a cross country competition.


The Y4 girls came second in their competition with Boe 11th, Hollie 12th, Sophie 13th, Sofia 14th, Imani 16th and Libby 44th







The Y4 boys came fourth in their event, with Harry 1st, Sebastian 14th, Eden 15th, Johnny 22nd, Archie 33rd and Maddox 45th

Sebastian was awarded the determination award.





The girls from Y5 & 6 finished 2nd in their race with Macey-Jayne 3rd, Amaleigh 4th, Lily-Mai 24th, Eva 28th, Lexi 29th, Evie 31st, and Freya 61st


Lily-Mai received the respect award.


The boys from Y5 & 6 finished 3rd in their race, with George 1st, Corey 10th, Jenson 13th, Owen 20th, Oscar 23rd, Oliver 45th, Max 48th and Emerson 49th

Cross Country

A total of 36 children represented the school in the annual cross country event at Well Cricket Club on Thursday 12th October.
George was the winner of the Y5 boys race and Macey-Jane was victorious in the Y6 girls event.

Cross Country

After school on Thursday 23rd March 39 children went to Alford Cricket Club in Well near Alford to take part in a cross country competition.
The Year 4 girls were first to run. Eva was our first runner home in 10th, with Poppy 13th, Freya 23rd, Kelsey 36th, Ashlee 30th and Libby-May 53rd.
In the Year 4 boys race George finished 1st, with Corey 2nd,  Oliver 10th, Konrad 23rd, Oscar 30th, Emerson 36th, Colby 46th and William 70th.
Year 5 girls: Macey-Jane came in 1st, with Mayzi 5th, Madeleine 17th, Lexi 18th, Ella 19th and Lily-Mai 22nd.
In the Year 5 boys race Jenson was our first finisher in 6th place. Anthony was next home in 18th with Benjamin 29th, Tyler 34th, Charlie 35th and Ben 40th.
In the Year 6 girls Scarlet B was 3rd with Isabelle just behind in 4th, with Cloud 11th, Scarlett H 14th, Jessica 16th, Rhianna 19th and Lisa 22nd.
Finally in the year 6 boys race; Billy was 2nd, Tyler S was 10th, Jack 11th, Luke 12th, Evan 16th and Kiefer 19th.

Overall we finished first in the large schools team competition.

Cross Country Success



Wednesday 17th September
A team of 41 children took part in the annual district schools cross country event at Alford Cricket Club, Well.

In the first event of the afternoon the year 3/4 girls race Isabelle got us off to a great start as she led from start to finish to win the race. She was well supported by the rest of the team with Lola (3rd), Scarlet (5th), Maycee Jay (6th), Lexi (7th), Paris (8th), Tia (13th), Kaycee (14th), Cloud (17th), Ella Boo (21st) and Grace (23rd).

In the second race the year 3/4 boys were led home by Billy in 2nd place overall just ahead of Ben in 4th. They were backed up by Dalton (16th), Luke (17th), Finlay (20th), William (21st), Evan (27th) and Cuba (32nd).

The next race was the Y5 girls race where Ava picked up 2nd and Caitlin came 5th.
In the Y5 boys event Freddie was the first of our runners home in 5th with Keelan (6th) and Ethan (7th) close behind. Alfie was next home in 10th with Ben (11th) and Luke (15th).

In the Y6 girls Jeniffer picked up our third second place of the afternoon. Alex produced a strong finish to pick up 4th place with Tarne (7th), Sarah (8th) and Asha (9th). Amy was unfortunately unable to finish.
In the final race, the Y6 Boys, Harley was our first runner home in 5th just ahead of Declan in 6th. Rui (9th) and Rocco (11th) were followed home by Nico (16th) and Lewis (18th) 

When all the individual points were added up it was announced that we had retained the Coastal Partnership Shield for winning team for the 5th year in a row.
