Swimming Gala

Thursday 30^th January – Louth

22 children represented the school in this year’s swimming gala.

We won the following events:

Y3/4 Medley Relay – Belle, Constanca, Casey and Oliver

Y3/4 Boys 25m Breaststroke – Oliver

Y5/6 Boys 50m Freestyle – Torin

Overall Placings:

4^th Burgh

3^rd Richmond

2^nd St Andrew’s

1^st Horncastle

Spring Term Round Up

Tuesday 13th March - two teams took part in a Quicksticks Hockey tournament. Both teams played well, with the Y5 team finishing 4th overall. Corey received  a Golden Ticket invitation as a result of his determination and fairplay.

8th March the girls and boys football teams took part in the local round of The Premier League Primary Stars competition. Both teams reached the semi-finals of their respective competitions.

On the 20th March a group of children from Y6 took part in a multi-skills talent day at Skegness Grammar School.


On the 21st March Madeleine, Macey-Jayne, Grace C, and Scarlett took part in a kurling competition at QEGS Horncastle.


By the end of the Spring Term 111 children had attended at least one sports event. In total we have had 303 sports appearances.

Jessica, Maya, Grace E, Macey-Jayne, Mayzi, Lily-Mai, Ben, Tyler M and Charlie from Y6

Took part in this year's swimming gala.

In the Y3/4 Competition we finished 3rd behind Horncastle (1st) and Woodhall St Andrew's (2nd)

In the Y5/6  competition we were 4th overall with Woodhall St Andrew's the winners in this age group.

We picked up several individual race wins;

Ben won the Y5/6 boys 25m Breastroke

Colby won the Y5/6 boys 50m Backstroke

George won the Y5/6 boys 50m Breaststroke

Jessica won the Y5/6 girls 25m Butterfly and the 50m Breaststroke
